Authentic story, and unreal setting! I'm not normally a "show" type person but this was really unique and special. From the creative way the unlimited food was distributed pupu-style from old store faces (rather than a boring buffet line) to the kids (and adults!) learning how to throw fish nets next to the ocean, to the chemistry between the tutu and her granddaughter who form the center of the story and history of this show it was all really top notch. Definitely worth the drive and the price! I'll be back with friends.

The food was excellent, the setting was gorgeous and the show was top-notch. We really appreciated how they wove in the story of the Hawaiian people into the performance. As another reviewer said, it was a Broadway-level show. I highly recommend it.

Not to be missed. Location is amazing, stage and visuals are incredible- unlike any other luau. Dancers and choreography on point and there is an xtra special treat of an aerialist! What a surprise! Even the fire dancers climbed up a pole to spin fire!! If you are on Island and looking for a show to watch, this is the best option! Outdoor with all the Hawaiian vibes that you need. Learn the culture, from the source, and be entertained!

Kaula was a phenomenal, high quality experience that we would absolutely recommend. We went with a group of colleagues and had a great time. It is also wonderful for a romantic even, fun with friends, and for sure families on vacation.

We participated in the boat cruise before the show which was such a special way to experience Ko Olina and get us excited for the event. The lines moved very quickly, and the staff were extremely friendly. The show was magical with quality entertainment and a beautiful staging and setting. For those that have seen other shows, this one will for sure stand out - included traditional pieces but lots of new and innovative elements that took it to the next level. Acrobats, beautiful storytelling, and the high quality A/V were my favorites, but our group of course also loved all the hula and fire dancing! Truly incredible. Food was out of this world, and the bar had great drinks. I loved the village style food houses, where folks could get the dishes they loved. All the food was really delicious - I especially loved the kalua pig. The customer service was of the highest quality, making the entire experience one we will no doubt come back to time and again.

The cost was completely reasonable given the in-depth and incredible experience. From arrival to departure our visit was about 4 hours. Without the boat ride probably about 2.5 hours. It was a enriching experience we are so glad we got the opportunity to do. Highly recommend.

I would say it's Ha meets Auana in your Hawaiian Aunty's oceanside estate's lanaï, without the drive or parking issues. This is a must see on your next vacation or date night for locals. Pomaika'i!

The Kaʻula Lūʻau was truly lovely. My other half and I had the chance to experience it alongside so many of our friends, family, and community members, which made the evening feel even more special. From start to finish, the performance told a vivid, beautifully woven story...one that was easy to follow, emotionally engaging, and brought the culture to life in such a memorable way!

Amazing experience at a culturally authentic show, we highly recommend!! The staff were incredible - they went so far above and beyond to make sure my son and I had a great time. We were both enthralled by the phenomenal dancers. The performances were all wrapped up in a culturally informative, charming, and entertaining story, told through conversations between a grandmother/granddaughter duo. My son also enjoyed the pre-performance activities where he got to try net throwing, drumming, and fire stick twirling (unlit, of course). It’s put on by the Hawaiian Council, a nonprofit that supports Hawaiian culture, housing, and education, so funds stay local and support great causes. A big mahalo to the team for all their good work!

Absolutely incredible! The staff was all extremely friendly and the show was entertaining, informative, and instilled admiration for the Hawaiian cultural. The food was also very good and loved that it was all you can eat! It rained a little bit during the show but they quickly distributed ponchos to all attendees. It’s also so nice that it’s located alongside the marina so you can see the water and watch the boats go by before the show. I highly recommend this luau experience.

Kaula was a phenomenal experience that we would absolutely recommend. We went with colleagues and had a great time — it’s perfect for friends, romantic evenings, or families on vacation.

The sunset cruise in Ko Olina was a beautiful start to the night, and the show itself was magical. The acrobatics, storytelling, hula, and fire dancing were incredible. The food was delicious (especially the kalua pig), and the staff were extremely friendly.

An enriching and memorable evening we would gladly return to again. Highly recommend.
